 About the Society!

The Texas Spine Society was chartered in May 1990 to improve conditions in the clinical practice of spinal disorders by:

bullet

establishing a forum to exchange ideas and dissemination of medical and scientific facts concerning the clinical practice of spinal disorders;

 
bullet

improving the quality of practice in spinal disorders;

 
bullet

improving the means of communication and support for young physicians beginning work and providing a means for other physicians to improve their work;

 
bullet

investigating and creating methods to improve the clinical practice of spinal disorders;

 
bullet

providing educational instructions and scientific meetings for medical and surgical purposes related to the spine and also improving the facilities for such instructions;

 
bullet

receiving, holding and disbursing gifts, bequests, devises and other funds for the purposes stated herein;

 
bullet

collecting, assembling and distributing to the members of the Society information pertinent and beneficial to the clinical practice of spinal disorders; and

 
bullet

promoting public goodwill for the benefit of the Society and the professional practice of spinal disorders.
